“Design Alongs” are when you join a group who simultaneously knit a project without using an existing pattern.

You don’t have to be limited to finding the perfect pattern. You can design it yourself! It’s really not rocket science, we promise. It simply takes a little patience and desire.

With Knit Along Now as your host, you’ll get support from beginning to end. Thinking through design considerations, swatching, calculating, and learning techniques to facilitate completion of your project are all part of the process.

Usually, there will be a theme such “top down pullover” or “cabled hats” or “stranded color”. We’ll have a private forum where you can ask questions, post pictures, share stories and learn how to document your process. As needed, Knit Along Now may also post written or video instructions for techniques.
