Design Alongs
Want to knit without needing a pre-written pattern? Feel nervous about diving into that on your own? Join a DesignAlong! We’ll pick a general theme, such as top-down pullover or cabled cardigan. Everyone will discuss their design goals and we’ll work together to implement the design ideas. It’s not rocket science. You can do it!

We all must learn the basics when we begin knitting. Once we know how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease and cast-off, we are on the launchpad to the knitting universe. The possibilities are vast. The learning never ends, if you don't want it to. From cables and lace to double-knitting and sideways sweater construction, the adventure is yours to choose. Learn to follow patterns (not always a simple venture!), learn some formulas for making basic sweaters without a pattern or trek into the wilderness of freeform knitting.
