Anyone can join a knit along or crochet along without obligation to pay any fees. I love knitting with others and sharing my expertise.
Here’s the scoop: I’m a single mother who lives with a disability. I happen to be a very experienced knitter and knitting teacher. Knit Along Now gives me a way to to offer what I can to the world and not waste away in isolation. I decided that I would feel too much performance pressure if I charged a fee for the “alongs.” That would be detrimental to my health. So, I offer this service to anyone who would like to join in. Besides, I don’t want to exclude those who might need this kind of creative, collaborative experience the most, but don’t have the ability to pay.
